Social (S) is the people-and-help theme in Holland’s RIASEC model—teaching, counseling, coaching, care, and facilitation. High S often means energy comes from others’ growth, not only from solo output or deals.
What Social (S) means
Social interest shows up in classrooms, clinics, HR, customer success, and community roles. It is not the same as being “extroverted”—many S-leaning people still need quiet recovery time (see Big Five on TypeAxis).
